First treatment of squint is power glasses for any refractive error. Glasses should be worn constantly. And yearly eye check up is mandatory.  If there is no refractive error, there may be some other reasons of squint, like eye muscles size disproportionate. This can need surgical intervention.
Next Steps
Be in touch with the eye surgeon. get her eyes checked regularly.
