My child is of 5+years old. From a long time she has been suffering from cough (less in days and more in nights) and she is very prone to cold. For last two days she is suffering from fever which is returning after 24 hours. In the evening her body temperature increases ( specially her forehead and neck while other body parts appear normal) and in nights her temperature increases to 101/102℃.I am using P250. She has runny nose and sometimes she complains of headache, leg pain and stomach pain .

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely, just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If mild, just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed, consult your paediatrician.
