Intense ear pain

Asked for Male, 46 Years

My son is going through intense ear pain from last 3 days . The pain is somewhere in the inner part of the ear. He is having problem also in chewing and swallowing . He is also using ear drops from last 2 days but there is no relief . One more thing is that he used to go to lake for bath from last 10 days . Is it something kind of infection due to water of the lake ? Or something else ?
