Insomnia & anxiety
My father is sixty & since 1994 he is eating meds. Zealm etc. Doctor sometimes reduce one & sometimes increase one. Also a banner is in his hospital, mental illness is treatable. But no treatment yet. Also in winters, my father's anger level increase & anxiety & insomnia. Need help. Cannot give meds whole life. Side effects etc & also 1000/- per month meds

Hi dear. I do understand your concern. I will try to answer a part of it. Mental Illness are treatable means treatment is available for relieve of symptoms like in case of diabetes hypertension etc where the you have to take medicines regularly to control BP and Sugar.Its slightly different from "curable" which means complete cure. Now next part if by taking medication my quality of life improves one should take it. Side effects are there almost of everything in life. What is more important is risk vs benefits. I hope it helps.
