Inside knee pain
I fell 3 weeks ago really hard (previous questions relative to this) and it was almost unbearable walking, sitting, extending, or bending my legs.It is much better now and I got negative X-ray results . Although it is much better I still have swelling on both knees (different areas) and it still pains me to put pressure on my right knee , and the inside of it really hurts especially on the Inner , side of my knee. I tried using ice but it burns and is too painful to continue. What could it be?

From what you have described, I understand that you have pain in the knee, esp. on the inner side with swelling, after an injury 3 weeks ago. It seems that you have an injury of the soft tissues in the knee, maybe ligaments, cushion(menisci) or cartilage. Since it has already been 3 weeks, it would be a good idea to get an MRI knee done. Xrays show bones only, while MRI shows all soft tissue structures as well.
Next Steps
Consult an Orthopaedic surgeon Get an MRI of the knee The Orthopaedician may suggest physiotherapy, and maybe some blood tests.
Health Tips
Do not perform floor activities, sit cross legged, or sit on low chair/stool

• Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. • Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. • Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. • Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area • Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Hi ! Likely suffering from a soft tissue injury which shall take about three more weeks to settle down gradually. If you have pain associated with clicking sounds which is associated with mild stiffness and becomes more severe after a period of inactivity, you might be suffering from Chondromalacia. Please consult your orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination and precise diagnosis. Chondromalacia goes with exercises and physiotherapy along with some medications. Do not worry. All the best. If you have severe pain please start tab etoshine MR twice a day. Will relieve pain and spasm both. Hot packs are key for Chondromalacia and old injuries.
