My daughter has an inguinal abscess on left side of her genital area. We tried with antibiotics for around 4 days and the width of the bump reduced and now no fever as well. However now to clear it off completely doctor is suggesting to drain it with a minor surgery. Wanted a second opinion to understand if surgery is inevitable or can be treated by some other ways.
