Vo rubbers ko separaters khte hai.... Those are used to create space between the teeth... So in next appointment orthodontist ke liye easy hota hai band placement mai... It's nothing about to worry.... N for large tongue if you have problem then you should consult a M.D.S....

Hello. Braces treatment mein do daato ke beech mein kuch 4-5 dino ke liye rubber daalte hain, unke beech mein thodi si jagah banane ke liye. In rubbers ko separators kehte hain. Inke jagah pe next appointment mein apke orthodontist ek metal ring lagayenge. And bade tongue ke like koi exercise nai hota. Agar uski wajah se apko saans lene mein pareshaani aaye ya khaana khaane ya baat cheet karne mein problem ho toh usse surgically treat Karte hain.

Hi sir, I think they have placed the separators in between the teeth, it will be removed within a week time. Need not to be worried, it is safe and it will not cause any problems.
Next Steps
Please you can discuss in detail with your orthodontist during treatment.  Hope this helps.
