Inflammation near tmj may be due to upper left wisdom teeth eruption...complete clinical and radiological examination is necessary to rule out the cause and management and the treatment will be planned according to that
If it is due to wisdom teeth then removal of teeth should be done

Hello. Good evening. Inflammation near left tmj. Might be associated with erupting 28 i.e. upper left wisdom tooth. Or it may be associated with the clicking of TMJ. Or it may be associated with the traumatic occlusion.

First you should visit an oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. consult with him. If you are from pune, you can visit our any of the clinic. one is Moraya Dental and Maxillofacial clinic Bibwewadi and other is Ivory smiles dental and Maxillofacial clinic, Mukund Nagar. Kindly do the OPG and TMJ open and closed mouth from any of the radio Diagnostic centre.
