Inflammation after surgery
After fess surgery for mucormycosis my mother is still having some tenderness and a little swelling in the forehead (frontal sinus)region and very little swelling around the eye after 2months. is it normal? we went to checkup and surgery doctor examined nose with endoscopy with camera and removed some crusting. he said nothing inside the nose. so is it called inflammatory stage? and how long it lasts ? its been like this for almost 1 and half month. but

Since Mucormycosis is a disease due to weakness in Immune system,  it is taking longer than usual for her to recover. My patients generally recover in a week to 10 days.
