Infection in the ear
I have a recurring problem of infection in my right year. The first two times it occurred, the doctor diagnosed that it was due to excessive use of ear buds. The infection has now reoccurred after 4 yrs, but I barely use ear buds anymore. What could be the probable causes? Which antibiotics or drops must I use? Thanks

Hi. Any form of trauma to ear canal can predispose to such infections. In past in your case that was due to ear buds. And in present it could be finger nail trauma due to scratching or some people use keys and all to relieve the ear itch. You need to take antibiotics and painkillers.
