Fungal infection in right ear
I am suffering from severe pain in my right, also yellowish discharge from last 7 days, and in between observed black thing in the discharge. This type of situation has happened with me earlier in left ear at that it was fungal infection. And now it is having a severe pain. I am worried if I should put drop in my ear or not as it is already wet due to discharge Please suggest, I am in severe pain. And I think interior of ear is swollen Please help. Thank you

Hello, It seems like you are affected with a fungal infection of the ear (otomycosis). The person who takes head baths regularly or the person with a narrow ear canal will get this problem. So nothing to worry about. Kindly consider the following medicines for the next 5 days. Candid ear drops: three drops three times T. Calpol 500 mg – Morning and Night T. Raciper 40 mg (before food) morning and Night T. Montek-Fx, night only And don't take a head bath for the next 5 days.

For now put candid ear drops 2 drops thrice daily for 5 days… Visit ent doctor and get an otoendoscopy done . Also start with zerodol sp tablet twice daily after food for pain relief

If it is fungal infection, Clotrimazole + Lignocaine ear drops should be used 2 drops thrice daily. Keep your ear strictly dry otherwise. However it needs to confirmed with examination.

Need to start oral antibiotics. Candibiotic ear drops 4 drops three times a day for 5 days. Do not let water to go inside the ear.
