Where in Mumbai can I get a free QEEG done?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to get a QEEG (Quantitative EEG) test done in Mumbai. Does anyone know if any medical colleges, hospitals, or research centers provide it for free (maybe as part of studies or clinical programs)?
Any leads or personal experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

QEEGs are usually done for research or in specialized neurology / psychiatry departments, and are not routinely free.
Here are a few suggestions + places you can check / contact — maybe they conduct studies or offer subsidized services:

QEEG is not a routine test and is usually available only in select centers, mostly linked with research or specialised neurology and psychiatry programs. In Mumbai, your best option would be to check with large medical colleges like NIMHANS collaborators, JJ Hospital, or private research centers associated with neuroscience labs. Sometimes universities or hospitals conduct studies where QEEG is done free of cost for participants, so you could enquire directly with their neurology or psychiatry departments.
If you are planning this test for clinical reasons, it may also help to first consult a neurologist or psychiatrist, who can guide you on whether it is necessary and direct you to centers where it is available.
