How long will i require to wear braces and how long will i have to wear the retainers after my repair of impacted canine with orthodontic treatment. Tips for getting the results fast.

With orthodontic treatment going slow is better.
For your condition it may approximately take 16-22 months. Of course there is possibility of change in the duration of treatment depending on the type of your canine impaction.
You should generally wear your retainer for at least 12 months. It may be more in case there is spacing or rotation. You can opt. for a removable retainer for your convenience

Orthodontic treatment generally took a long time to show visible results. It depends upon many factors. So if you are planning to undergo orthodontic treatment then have patience. Retainers are given after orthodontic treatment to avoid relapse. They are generally given for 12 months. But can wear for longer time also, depending upon chances of relapse.
