ILL defined echogenic pattern in cervix
She underwent TVS ultrasound. She is HPV 18 positive Pap Smear negative for Intraepithelial malignancy Colposcopy intial score is between LSIL or HSIL but BIOPSY not taken. TVS ultrasound shows these things which shows endometrial thickness (myometrium) and some ILL DEFINED ECHOGENIC AREA 10x5mm in cervical region. She has hysteroscopy due in a day or two where doctors will evaluate n take biopsy from uterine wall and cervix also. But i am concerned about the cervical region ill defined area. As radiologists couldnt understand if it is a polyp or clot or "some structure" Can i know what it looks like? Malignant change? Or something?

It seems to be an innocuous report. An MRI of the pelvis should be done as advised by the Sonologist. Colonoscopy is negative for intra-epithelial malignancy. Her age is 37 years. You didn't mention how many children she has. You have two choices ; Periodic follow up every six months. Go for a Hysterectomy if you have the required number of children.
