Does ILD (NSIP pattern) in Lungs are curable??? How long it treated? Kindly explain????????????????

Hi. I understand your concern s. It is not curable but can be kept under control with proper treatment and regular follow up with a pulmonologist

NSIP has two patterns radiologically , one is cellular and other is fibrotic... Cellular has good prognosis...

The outcome of NSIP totally depends upon the cause of NSIP. In some cases it is totally reversible with treatment while maximum time it is reversible process.

depends on cause of nsip. sometimes if its secondary to a curable cause it can be well treated. consult a pulnonologist for stage of nsip and proper evaluation and management!
