My son is 18 days old and is on mixed feed ( pumped breast milk and top feed).
I am confused as to what should be the normal amount of milk given per feed.
His birth weight was 3.4 kgs.

Madam , why mixed pumped breast feed and what is top is
top feed!!
Give breast feeding. It is good for you and baby for present and latter in life . It prevents many diseases like obesity DM, HBP METABOLIC SYNDROME AND many more disease just for sake of your child change to breast feeding.

It is best to avoid formula. It may lead to many problems like digestion, infection etc. Don't worry about amount of milk per feed. Check weight every week. Weight gain is the measure of adequate milk. Meet a lactation consultant for better guidance
