Hi..am Dr Bhanu, Naval area pain indicates a midgut problem.. constipation as such will not give naval pain..but IBS is known for causing diffuse colicky pain but not just at umbilicus I feel as cbc and CT scan is normal., it is more in favour of minor inflammation in bowel/mesentric lymphadenitis However needs physical examination of abdomen to confirm and rule out other pathologies If you develop fever/increase in pain associated with vomiting.. do not delay and get examined . Hope my answer helped u.. good luck Ps : Early features of appendicitis is pain around naval area which cannot be picked up by CT scan all the time.
