I'm Armenian and there is a very common genetic disorder among Armenians which is Familiar Mediterranean Fever. None of my parents has it. My sister is an active carrier(25percent) and her daughter has the disorder. My middle sister has a boy who is healthy, he doesn't have the disorder. I am the 3rd daughter of my family and I'm 17. Should I get the test done? I am very concerned. I don't have the common symptoms of it such as strong abdominal pain. Is it possible that I have the disorder?
