I think i have a keloid

Asked for Male, 22 Years

When I was 3 years old I had a an accident where i ran into a boiling water bowl and severely burnt my chest. the scar has now faded to quite some extent and it has been 19 years since the accident. However, about a year ago I noticed a small extra growth on my scar which is about 1 cm in length and 0.2 cm in breadth. I have used silicone gel to treat it but not much has changed.
