Hi, Spending too much in isolation during your preparation could have heightened your social anxiety. You need to expose yourself to social situations where you get an opportunity to interact with people. You can design a gradual exposure plan for yourself- start with going out with someone you are comfortable with. Practice conversing with them. Ask this person to introduce you to a new person in your next outing. This way you will develop your confidence back. You can also use social media platform to get your confidence back. Use this platform to talk about issues( eg. Politics, sports, business, dogs etc.) that matter to you.
Next Steps
Make a gradual exposure to social situations plan for yourself. You can consult me for the same if you need assistance.
Health Tips
Everytime you expose yourself to an uncomfortable situation, your anxiety might increase and you might feel discouraged. It might be helpful for you to visualise a positive goal in your mind during this phase.
