There are many causes for snoring such as obesity, deviated nasal septum, chronic rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, decreased tone of palate and pharyngeal muscles. Alcohol will reduce muscle tone and cause increased snoring. Treatment depends on identifying cause for your snoring
