I really am skinny and have been continuously trying to gain weight but everything just stays at my stomache and does not spread my fat. I really don't know what to do anymore

I can understand your concern.
Some people have really a higher basal metabolic rate and find it very difficult to gain weight.
You just need to have a high calorie diet and Get yourself checked out by a endocrinologist to rule out hormone related issues.
