I'm scared.
I was recently diagnosed with lattice and a hole in my right eye. Doctor has suggested me to do laser barrage which I'm considering to do in next few days. I'm a student and I need a study a lot. My only question is how serious is this problem and can I lead a normal life with good vision.

Many of us have lattice and we do not even realize it. You are lucky u got yourself examined and found one... laser is just a preventive method to avoid any problems in the future... Just remember to follow up every 6 -8 months with a Retina Specialist.

Barrage laser is used to seal the weak spots or holes in the retina. It's a minor and a painless procedure. You need not worry at all. Make sure you get your retina checked by a Retina specialist once in every 6 months. You shall definitely have a good vision and you can definitely study as much as you want.
