I'm depressed doctor
My lmp was 6 January.I'm unmarried girl.I do a USG lower abdomens for period problem on January 27th.if i pregnant can it detect in usg..I do a unprotected sex on 14 January.but I don't tell anything about pregnancy to sonographar.

Sonologists normally don't look around for pregnancy when they are doing sonography for some other reason.
This is more true when they are doing sonography for unmarried girls.
If you want to exclude pregnancy please tell the Sonologist before hand.
This has legal connotations also.

Pregnancy in an ultrasound bu a transvaginal scan will be picked up 1 week after a skipped perid and after 2 weeks by a transabdominal scan
