I hv type 3 ACL tear.
Is there any alternate to repair ACL without surgery. I hv type 3 ACL tear with marrow contusion along the lateral tibeal plateau.

NO alternative to surgery. But there is no urgency to get it operated. If the injury is fresh i would recommend to undertake the surgery after 6-8 weeks of injury.

It can be treated without surgery by physiotherapy but completely depends on your life style..if your an active person then surgery is advised or else physiotherapy is enough.
