this really depends on the extent to which your tooth has chipped/fractured. enamel/dentin or reached the pulp. based upon the relevan radiographic(x-ray) evaluation. the chipped part would be recreated with dental composite restorations or root canal treated and crowned . if severely chipped then extracted and replaced with an implant.
