Hairfall can occur due to several factors. Dandruff itself can cause hairfall and resolves once dandruff is treated. If your hairfall persists once your dandruff is under control then we have to evaluate other causes for hairloss. Hypothyroidism is also one of the common causes of hairloss. However if your thyroid hormone levels are under control with medicines for more than 6 months the hairloss is unlikely to be due to hypothyroidism as well. I cannot prescribe medication on this platform. Please fix an appointment with a dermatologist near you at your convenience. Warm regards. Dr. Rajdeep Mysore. Chirag Hospital Bangalore
