Hi,
Please suggest me diagnosis for treating polyps. I was admitted to St Georges hospital on 27th May 2019 and was discharged on 1st June, 19.
I was suggested to do sonography there in St George's hospital on 3rd June, 19.
I went for sonography and it was mentioned by doctors in Usg dept that gallbladder stone detected of 18mm size.
On Saturday I went for sonography again, Doctor said it's not a stone rather its a polyp.
Please suggest in this.

The polyps are diagnosed in USG by the absence of acoustic shadow...
A CT scan can help in confirming the diagnosis.
If it's of this size, then it's better to undergo Laparoscopic cholecystectomy...
