I have keratosis pilaris
I have kp since childhood . I went to several doctors in bangalore but couldnt find any cure.I really feel embarassed when people ask about it. The affected areas are arms, back and buttocks. In buttocks its more and has led to discolouration. I really want some effective treatment.

Thanks for your query. This condition by itself is of no harm but can be of a major cosmetic concerns and especially in females. There are multiple options to treat if cosmesis is a concern and each has to be customized based on few laboratory tests and certain other parameters/ Also the outcome is unpredictable. An attempt to find associated comorbidities should be made and it will provide new treatment lines.
