I had suffered from conjunctivitis 20 days back. It has been cured. Now have soe blurdness in left eye. When consulted the doctor it was said that i had viral conjunctivitis and is affected iris. Now I am using eye drop content Gatifloxacin and ketorolac tromethamine along with eye gel with content Ganciclovir ophthalmic 0.15%

Hello..
Blurriness is due to lesions on cornea....if it is due to adenovirus keratitis then these scars are here to stay ...they may become faint with use of low potency steroids and there is no need for gancyclovir

Your ophthalmologist is right. You might have viral conjunctivitis. Treatment given is good. You might have corneal involvement . It will take longer to have clear vision.
