I am suffering from appendix. I am 29 years old lady.I got to know about it day before yesterday. Is operation for appendix safe ? Can there be any danger to my life at the time of operation of appendix ? Also in my past I had tuberculosis. Now it is cured but one of my lung is damaged because of it. Will it cause any problem or danger to me during operation of appendix ? I am very worried. Please tell me doctor.

Generally Appendix surgeries are safe. Most of the time they are done laparoscopically. You condition is bit complicated because of your TB. I don't think you need to worry so much it generally is not life threatening
