Yes, correction of nasal septum along with balloon sinuplasty to widen the sinus openings will help you. However, you will still need to take medicines for a few months to clean up your sinuses as surgery will merely facilitate the medicines reach the inflamed sinus tissues to heal them. That is the only intention of surgery. I do not do destructive surgeries like turbinectomies and extensive endoscopic sinus surgeries as these strip the paranasal sinuses and nose of valuable irreplaceable respiratory mucosa and these will be replaced by scar tissue. End result is lots of crusting and blockage of nostrils as the respiratory mucosa which conducted the dust and debris away from nose to throat will not be available! My septal correction is also minimally invasive with no packs and bandages. Postoperatively, you will be breathing through your nostrils only!
