Chronic urticaria is also called chronic spontaneous Urticaria or Chronic idiopathic urticaria. Idiopathic means cause remains unknown. Usually except for itching, urticaria does not cause any symptoms. My advice is please take non sedation antihistamines so that you don't get any hives and associated itching. Antihistamines are safe even if given for long duration. Do not think of the cause and do not stop it to see if itching comes back. You can contact me in private chat for more information and councelling.
