I got HLA B27 Test as +ve

Asked for Male, 29 Years

Hello Doctor, Yesterday I was suggested to have HLA B27 Test. The results are positive. But my MRI,URIC acid tests are normal. Please suggest me what next steps to be taken for HLA B27 results. I have back pain since 5 months .

hi , not all the persons with hla b 27 positive will get ankylosing spondylitis. the best way to deal with it is to do back stretching and strengthening exercises .. and observe if the disease is progressing.
