Female age 42 I feeling weak and having body pains went to doctor he suggested by seeing below eyelids to get complete blood count report Now the report is arrived Blood for hb 7.6 gms / dl (52%) T.c 10600 cells / cumm D.c. P -76% L-20% e-4% E.s.r 72 mm / 1St hr R.b.c 2.5 million / cumm P.c.v 23% M.c.v 92.0 cubic microns M.c.h 30.4 micro micrograms M.c.h.c 33% Platelets 3.18 lakhs / cumm Now doctor is saying to get 4 bottles of blood I am afraid please give me second opinion about this

Hello..Well yes 7.2 haemoglobin is less dear...We need to evaluate you for the cause of low HB before we plan to transfuse blood..Because we won't get clear picture after transfusion..You need to get a peripheral smear done and also iron studies..So that we can know the cause..Apart from that we also need to know if you have any condition where there is blood loss...Meet a physician...
