I dislocated my knee some 17 days back

Asked for Female, 29 Years

I dislocated my knee 17 days back and doctor had to put it back in position. So there was a delay of two hours and i had swelling and pain. I am wearing a knee brace for these many days and was taking complete rest. I have not bend my knee so far and how long should i wear the brace.

Knee dislocation is a disaster. it's likely that you dislocated your patella. you will need a MRI to know the exact status if your MPF ligament.
