I am suffering fron otosclerosis
8 years back I came to know that I am suffering from otosclerosis and went to left year surgery 6 years back.After surgery I felt improvement in hearing but since 3 years back  again I am struggling with my hearing issues and from last 2 years using hearing aid with which i don't feel comfortable.Further i want to opt for surgery again took advice from doctors  but I found doctors have different opinion regarding operating the ear i.e. either operated ear or unoperated ear.kindly help

Previously operated ear only shud be ideally operated again... Although there are risks associated with re-surgery... And success rates may vary...

I think you should go for resurgery and try it cpuld be due to displacement of prosthesis which can be fixed again.
