I am diagnosed with OSMf infection
I was chewing pan masala. But left the habit from approx 1years. I am also occasional smoker and alchohal drinker. I have quitted panmasala n smoking from approx 6-7 months. Only occasionally takes few drinks. At present my mouth opening is 2.5 fingers proper can place 3 with force. Doctor advised mintovit-L and a hyaluronidase injection once per week. As my mouth opening is not that much bad do I need to have this injections.Is it not possible to get it cured my oral medicine? Cost of in

Hi.. yes you have to continue the tablets as well as injections biweekly for atleast 6 weeks. If there is no improvement then surgery is advised. Before any treatment you should stop any associated habits. Injections can be taken care off by oral medicine specialist.

If it's not infection. It is a condition due to hardening of oral mucosa and loss of its elasticity. It is also precancerous condition. Stop, if any pan Masaaki, or tobacco habit. Seek an oral surgeon opinion
