Hypothyroidism
My mother is dealing with hypothyroidism problem since 2004. From about one month she has been taking 125mg levothyroxine tablets. She is feeling pins and needles in whole body particularly near left chest.She has some swelling around both the breasts.She is worring about some heart problem. She is also taking homeopathic medicine to counter pain of pins and needles and swelling. There is some relieve in pain.But swelling is gradually increasing and there is a feeling of sensitivity. What can be the possible reason for this Can the swelling be due to levothyroxine tablets dose? Please answer

Hi Get your mother’s thyroid profile test done also Diabetes screening She can start vitamin b complex and vitamin E Also her swelling will need further evaluation
