Hypothyroidism
Hello doctor. Recently I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My tsh was 6.99. I'm on 50 mg thyronorm. Will I get goitre or thyroid cancer because of this?

There are less chances of getting goitre [thyroid swelling] if ur TSH is within normal limits. Thyroid cancer risk is nil if u get diffuse goitre . Regular monitoring of thyroid function tests every 2 months  and dose adjustment as per report wil help you to prevent goitre formation.
