Hypothyroid - One Month Back My Tsh Level Was 12.5 , I Consulted

One month back my TSH level was 12.5 , i consulted doctor they told me directly it is hypothyroid and he gave thyroxine 25 mg tab, and after 3 weeks it is reduced to 6 . If it wil reduce below 0.12 , can I continue that tab?
