I am taking thyronom 50mg. I started with 12.5mg 2 years back. However, the dose has been increasing since then. Currenlty, I am again experincing thyroid related symptoms and my dosage would increase. Just wanted to know if there is any permanent cure of thyroid in any medicine? If yes, what form?

Along with your symptoms, your thyroid dose would also depend on your weight and your initial TSH. A dose of 50 micrograms is not very high and you don't need to worry about an increase in dosage as long as a particular dose keeps your thyroid hormone levels in adequate control and helps you symptomatically.

No permanent cure. Since the hormone is produced in a pulsatile manner, only replacement with the medicine is the treatment. No other cure.
