Hyperthyroid and weight gain
I have recently been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism with a TSH value of 0.05 uIU/ml, but i have been gaining weight almost on a weekly basis even after exercising 5 days a week and controlling my diet. May I know how to go about this? because this is confusing me as to how to go ahead with this health problem. As of now i am not taking any medication for Hyperthyroidism.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. How did you decide it's hyperthyroidism with just TSH? Where is T3 and T4? And what other test have you done? And why are you not taking any medicines for hyperthyroidism? Go consult a endocrinologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
