Is there any study or research on the cause of essential hypertension. I believe that essential hypertension is primarily due to overactive sympathetic nervous system. But what is the cause of its overactivity remains an unsolved puzzle. If possible pls share any documented study or research paper regarding cause of essential hypertension.
Thanks
