Doctor has suggested to get total laparoscopic hysterectomy done along with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. Will removal of ovaries cause any side effects in post menopausal women . Will she be prone to heart disease and osteoporosis ?

The decision for removal of ovaries will depend on the condition of the ovary n age of patient Yes removal of ovaries can predispose to osteoporosis n heart disease
