Having problem for facial hyperhidrosis from many years i tried every medicine as per doctor advise but no medicine work so i decided to take opinion from dermatologist onlime where he prescribed oxybutynin 10 mg twice a day and it works great but having few side effects like feeling drowsy and sleepy , dry mouth which is bearable . Now i can talk with people confidently with this medicine. I take this medicine from 1 year till now but many doctors said this medicine is not safe in long term as it causes dementia , memory problem and so on.. now i am worried about this bcoz without this medicine my life becoming worse .. so plz suggest what can i do

There are other lines of treatment for hyperhidrosis. Some relevant investigations are also necessary (endocrinal). Botox, iontophoresis, surgery are a few other options.
