Hydronephrosis
I am suffering from left side pain which is due to left kidney stone of 5.3mm. I have been suggested Rirs and dj stent but i really want to know whether it can cured by medicines. I have attached my CT scan report for reference. Please guide.

If your pain is being managed by medication , then you can try medication as well, a stone of this size can pass in 30-40% of cases. And if it causing repeated and persistent pain or fever then RIRS will be required. I personally advice medication for at least 1-3 weeks. Even after that stone is not passing then surgery will be needed.
