Hurting ankle
Hi, my ankle has been hurting all week. It hurts when I walk or go up the stairs, and a little when I rest. I doubt its sprained, I haven't done any activity that would make it start to hurt. It feels like my muscles are tightened, I'm not sure. I'm back in class, so I'm having to walk long distances everyday since parking is far from campus. Any idea on what it could be? I did have a sprain on that same ankle a few years back.

Hello. Probably due to inflammation. Elevate the ankle and apply an ice pack for pain relief. Oral pain killer before bed will help.
Next Steps
Get an X-ray to rule out a bony injury.
Health Tips
More likely.. a ligament tear. Wearing an ankle support will help.
