Hi I got my hsv 1 and 2 test done today report came as follow hsv ii igg ab to hsv (type ii) h 1.87 igm ab to hsv (type ii). 0.25 hsv1 igg ab to hsv (type i). 1.57 high igm ab to hsv (type i). 0.21 what does it mean do I have herpes or not? What precautions I should take if I kiss my son on his head will he get herpes also I got my hiv 1 and 2 it’s 0.05.

It shows that u had infection of herpes in the recent past as IgM antibodies are negative andI gG antibodies are positive.There is no active infection and these igG antibodies will subside slowly in 1- 2 years and nothing to do.You can very will kiss your son but always do protected sex
