How to prevent lung infection
Hi all, I had a lung infection in February. My pulmonologist advised flu and pneumonia vaccines, but I have a recurrent UTI (3 years now), and my doctor said I must wait until that’s treated. Cystoscopy and biopsy are planned, but it may take 2 more months. I use Foracort 200 and always wear a mask. I travel a lot to the hospital (long distance), and I’m scared I might get another lung infection before I can take the vaccines. Any tips to protect my lungs during this time?

Do you gargle after using foracort. Foracort use without water gargle can cause upper respiratory tract infection because it contains steroids. If you are using gargle then need to confirm immune status and identify cause of infection. And also needs to evaluate that if you require foracort or not.
